Learn Russian Online from any level!
Are you interested in learning the Russian language? Or are you looking for a way for your child or someone you know to learn Russian faster? I have helped over one hundred children and adults learn Russian from scratch, as well as improve their reading and communication skills.
I specialize in 1-on-1 online lessons through Zoom, Skype or Google Meet.
My work as a Russian language tutor started in Canada through my ongoing love for children and the joy that seeing them learn brings. Whether I provide my students’ first experience with the Russian language or Russian is their native tongue, I love taking on new challenges in helping people expand their knowledge.
I have had many students start from scratch and continued learning with me for many years of improvement. Whether reading, writing or speaking, my greatest joy is watching children and adults progress in their knowledge of Russian. My passion as an educator has pushed me find new students and teach children and adults at all levels.

Who I Teach
Young Children
I have been providing remote learning lessons from as young as 4 years old. I usually start young children with small lessons and move them to longer ones when they feel ready.
1st step: 30 minutes, twice a week. $55 (CAD) per week.
2nd step: 45 minutes, twice a week. $75 (CAD) per week.
3rd step: 60 minutes, once or twice a week. $50 (CAD) each lesson.
Older Children
Children between 8 and 18 years old are usually able to work by themselves and have longer lessons at a time. Depending on their age, level of Russian knowledge, and differences in school or work schedule, I offer personalized lesson frequency and length.
Common preferences have been:
A: 45 minutes, once or twice a week. $37 (CAD) each lesson.
B: 60 minutes, once or twice a week. $50 (CAD) each lesson.
Adults
For the last two years, I have also started working with adults who want to learn Russian as a second language.
Most adults that come to me start from scratch, therefore they usually have to learn the alphabet and basic vocabulary. I offer short, frequent lessons similar to how I teach young children, but with more advanced themes and faster pace.
In order to get through the basics of Russian faster I recommend starting as such:
Start: 30 minutes, 2 - 3 lessons per week. $27 (CAD) each lesson.
Move to: 60 minutes, 2 - 3 lessons per week. $50 (CAD) each lesson.
